how much is the 13 inch 2011 macbook pro stock hard drive worth? Im considering to replace my original with the ssd

Thanks for the heads up. No point in waiting 2 months when the price isn't gonna go lower than this. Now just to decide if I wanna spend another $100 to get an optibay and external dvd enclosure or just use the stock HDD in an external enclosure and get a 4 port USB hub for a combined $30. leaning more against the optibay route since even though i havent used the optical drive in this MBP more than a handful of times, I used it like crazy in my 2009 white Macbook.

I ordered this $29 optibay on eBay. It's a US seller and if I didn't know any better, it looks exactly like the MCE. If you look at the reviews they're almost all Mac user's and feedback is 100%. MCE is $100 and OWC is 2 weeks out.

Thanks for the suggestion but I decided against the optibay. I didn't see the point in going that route when the HDD in the optibay will probably be idle and powered down 99% of the time. It will get better use as an external HDD. I will just hook the HDD up to the iMac and share any files over the network. My laptop only leaves the house 1 week out of the whole year so its no bother to hook up the external HDD and transfer anything over before I go.
