Well, I've always used crucial memory and its always been top notch.
Knowing nothing about their SSDs, there's a couple of questions.
1. Does boot camp work with this model - I recall that at one point (still?) that some SSDs don't work with bootcamp.
2.Track record, how are people reporting on this model, is its fairly defect free, how's the speed.
3. What manufacturers does apple buy their SSDs from? Clearly apple does not make their own, just like they don't make their own hard drives. Knowing which companies they buy from, you'll be able to discern whether the crucial SSD is > the apple supplied model.
All in all, I've always thought that crucial memory was the best in the market and so given their track record, I'd probably lean towards buying from them over some other no-name company. Not sure how that stacks up to intel's SSD though.
