I bought a gig (2x512) of Muskin RAM from Newegg back in March for my PMG5, not a single problem from it. I have OWC RAM in my iBook, also works great

Can you provide a link to the exact item you bought. I'm sure lots of memory at Newegg is compatible with Macs and it would be helpful to know from personal experience.

Had stability problems with my Powerbook G4. Installed this in my 12" 1.5GHz PowerBook G4. Booted up with no problem and had a total of 1.25GB of ram. Unfortunately, the ram made my applications crash very often. Adobe Photoshop, iPhoto, iDVD, the list goes on. I give this product a 5 out of 5 because it works, just not that well in my PowerBook G4. I can't rate this product low just because it is not compatible with my notebook. In any case, Newegg rocks!
