Crumpler le Royale + iPhone 4, Yes or No?

Ordered one the other day as an impulse buy before getting the new phone, now I find out it's out of stock so I could cancel it.

So has anyone tired an iPhone 4 in a Crumpler Le Royale? Does it fit?

It will fit as it is made for the 3gs (the 4 is a tiny bit smaller).
But another question is "Will it accommodate an iPhone 4 with a Bumper?"
And if not what will? Got my phone coming, must protect... precious!

With a bumper, you want a slightly larger case. I've found something like what normally handles a Palm Treo has enough space, plus a little extra.

Yep, the LeRoyal case fits... After I packed it with rectangles of 6mm MDF and left it in a glass of hot water. 😎 The top 4mm of the bumper/phone is still exposed, looks good still.
