Based on postage from the UK I expect the item a week after I order it. That's still 1/8 the estimated time for my Jet Black + to arrive lol

You hit the nail on the head, we had 4 units for our tests of Onyx and we can't make a demo video as they are totally scratched to death! Carphonewearhouse (if your in the UK you will know them) let us down today for 3 units of JB said it would arrive today and kindly sent me an email saying 7th of Nov now, which I was very thrilled about as you can imagine, so it looks like we will have to go to the grey market and get some tomorrow. Soon as thats done we will get stuff up for people to see.

I went to the apple store today, just ut of interest the guy told me the stock is updated at 6.01 am every morning so if anyone is trying to get hold of them out of contract thats the time to check and reserve, just to make matters worse he told me they had 80 JB 256 all ready to go that were all reserved on the apple website, no for pre-order but for pickup the day before :-(

It definitely could be. Could also be b/c it needs to be reapplied every 6 months. Car/Phone manufacturers might not want to have to deal with explaining that to the customer, providing application dates, since its almost impossible to physically see when it needs to be done. Wonder if any independent tests have been done on the claims of these solutions..

they have the same "nano coatings" for cars suckers go run out and spend $1500 on. And then post photos online how shiny their cars are (as if being perfectly clean shouldn't be really shiny). It's the most ludicrous thing and gullible people I've ever seen. And Im sure it's a multi-million dollar industry with the product makers and installers/detailers laughing all the way to the bank

Riddle me this. If they were that revolutionary and magical, then why have 0 car makers and 0 phone makers adopted it into their standard design/materials coming off the line with dozens of material engineers?

Wrong, LG Flex is a self healing phone, Nissan has a paint that is self healing a scratch resistant, self cleaning since 2013 . I think your find the reason is that it's not on a mass scale is 1 it's expensive and 2 it lasts longer than that want it to.

You welcome David, sorry we don't monitor FB as much as we should, but we are up to our eyes in it right now and don't even have time to go to the toilet!

What about at least some pics or videos of an alien skin on another color 7 or 7+? I would like to see how it looks and some scratch/drop tests.

Don't ****ing go with liquid screen protectors. This is all scam. I tried one and days after it, my display got scratched so much that I completely stopped using glass screen protectors at all and now I don't have any protection on my display.Wish I haven't ****ed up my display and just put a regular glass screen protector.

I have not run a glass protector on any phone - I have my iPhone 4 here which has been handed down through the entire family before being retired - barely a scratch on it. My 6 ends up in pockets with pens, keys and even coins and there is not a scratch. While I dont think liquid screen protectors will do much, they are better than nothing. I ordered Onyx and an Alien Skin set for the iPhone 7+ JB here
