I've have CS4 Prem design suite on one machine and a demo of CS4 design standard on other. I want to deactivate the premium ed on the first machine and install on the 2nd.

Do I need to uninstall the demo or can I just enter the serial?

It's possible there might be a conflict between the standard suite and the premium suite in terms of serials and activation. If it was me, just trying to be thorough, this is what I'd do:

1. Deactivate the premium CS4 on the first machine. You'll still have 30 days grace to use all of its components.

2. Remove all traces of CS4 from the other machine by downloading and using the Adobe CS4 clean script, not the Adobe uninstaller in the Utilities folder. Follow the instructions carefully.

3. Install and activate your premium CS4 once that's done.
