CS3 license question

The wife may be buying CS3 for her photography class. Since we don't have an intel mac yet, she will have to buy the Windows verson.

My questions are for when we buy an Intel Mac down the road:
Can I use the license key from the windows version of CS3? Just download the trial OSX version and register it? (I would remove CS3 from my PC of course).

I am not sure what the license agreement says or if the key would
even work.

Worse case I could just run it in bootcamp

I was not able to use the key from the windows version on my mac version of Photoshop. So, I called Adobe and the guy gave me a Mac key. I don't know if they will always do it, but it worked for me. 🙂

I don't think this is a general policy. From what I heard you can not upgrade from mac to windows or vice versa.
