Hi Everyone.

Am hoping you can help me out. I just downloaded the trial of cs5. I have been using cs4 for a while now to process my RAW files and really love it.

When I use cs5 to process my raw files however, I find that it Lags and is jerky when I make any adjustments to exposure, color temp etc.

Was wondering if this is a settings problem? I would love to upgrade to Cs5, but with this problem I cannot justify it.

I am using a brand new macbook pro i7 with 8GB ram.

Help is appreciated.

FWIW, I'm having performance issues with CS5 on a machine that should, at least in theory, be faster than yours (for one thing, I have more RAM).

I ordered a DVD of CS5 (educational price, using my daughter's college credentials), but I'm inclined to cancel the order (it has not shipped, after 1 week!)). I do 99% of my photo editing in Lightroom, and the two or three gimmicks that CS5 has are just not worth having to deal with the jerkiness that I have seen so far. I have PS CS4 and it is perfectly adequate for that 1% extra that I need.
