CS6 will not work

I have a legitimate Adobe CS6 Design and Web for my new old 2015 iMac OS High Sierra as the original owner serial number that worked in the past. When tying to install I get the message that the serial number doesn’t work and to contact Adobe. I contacted Adobe but because the software is so old, I couldn’t get any satisfactory answers even as a registered owner. I tried offline to generate a request code and even that didn’t work. Then in my readings I read about an updated open source amtlib.framework to replace the original. Does anyone know how I can get this or is there another way that I haven’t thought of making my legitimate software to work.

Did you try the Adobe forum? You can usually get answers about licensing from Adobe staff there. (Not about hacks, though.)

Adobe's licence servers for Creative Suite 5 and 6 are still running, from what I can gather. (But they won't forever.)
Adobe's installers were terrible, back in the day, with all kinds of dependencies that might fail.

Most 2015 iMacs can run Monterey at best, which may be enough to get reasonably up-to-date software. Any reason you're running High Sierra, other than to keep Creative Suite working?

Honestly, you'd be much better off finding other software. You don't want to be left with InDesign files that you can no longer open, because your decade-old Mac's logic board dies, and you can't get CS6 running on another Mac.

Those amtlib.framework files are often cracks with malware, I would avoid them. First thing, I would probably check if you have *.adobe.com paths firewalled (on /etc/host etc). Or maybe you have an upgrade serial instead of a full one?
