    Ok, I am fairly new to CSS and very new to trying to do my page layouts with it instead of tables.

    I am working on this page here: http://www.sideeffectsdesign.com/test/safeguard/

    In Mozilla browsers, the browsers vertical scroll bar does not seem to be showing. It shows fine in IE. Which has been a first while I have been learning css. Usually I can't get things to work in IE.

    This is the only CSS I have set up so far. There is an external sheet, but it's only got a bit of text formatting set up.
    Code:
    #banner { background-image: url(media/safeguard_banner.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; height: 123px; width: 770px; left: 0; top: -30px; position: absolute; visibility: visible; }
    #content { font-size: 13px; height: 460px; width: 738px; left: 0; top: 113px; position: absolute; visibility: visible; padding: 12px; border-color: #669; border-style: solid; border-width: 2px 4px; }
    #menu { background-color: #669; height: 26px; width: 770px; left: 0; top: 88px; position: absolute; visibility: visible; }
    #bottom { background-image: url(media/safeguard_bottom.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; height: 75px; width: 770px; left: 0; top: 599px; position: absolute; visibility: visible; }
    #footer { font-size: 11px; height: 21px; width: 770px; left: 0; top: 670px; position: absolute; visibility: visible; padding: 4px; }
    #container { height: 100%; width: 770px; left: auto; top: 50px; position: relative; right: auto; visibility: visible; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; }
    #nav { background-color: #669; height: 25px; width: 750px; z-index: 100; position: relative; top: 2px; visibility: visible; }
    I am sure there is more than one error going on. Can anyone give me any tips for the scroll bar issue though? Thanks a lot.

    In the external CSS file, basic.css there's a line,
    Code:
    overflow: hidden;
    set on the body that is causing the issue. You can also get rid of the height and max-height properties there.

    Thanks!

    Must have been left over from some previous fiddling. I didn't even think I had touched the body tag.
