Curious... 10.4.7 in an iMac c2d

This is just a typo right ? Preinstalled 10.4.7, while max is 10.7.

What I mean is the, OS X which this c2d iMac is able to run. It can't run PPC and Intel. Or is there an Intel version of 10.4.7 !!

Yeah, Tiger was preinstalled on the first Intel models and only is on the original factory gray disks. Leopard took another year to come out.

Oh dear ! I ought to be ashamed! I Never knew that OS X had an Intel version as early as Tiger.... Thanks for the info..

Thanks for offering to help...but I am not trying to do the same. I was just curious as I came across an ad for an c2d iMac which stated that its default OS X was Tiger.

But u can help me with my Core duo 17" Imac, 10.6.8, which hangs randomly....yeah the rainbow wheel begins to spin and after a few seconds..it returns to normal..

Any idea y ?
