I am looking at getting and IPad Pro to see if it can replace pen and paper while in meetings at work. With that said I see retails have the 64gb, 10.5 IPad Pro on sale for 549.99. Do you think that this price drop is the biggest we will see or will the price drop more after the announcement. I know, if we could all tell the future....

I guess I haven’t followed pricing that closely so I am looking for some feedback.

Here is the way I see it....if you "need" one for business, buy one. Forget about pricing. Just buy the tools you need to do your job. That's my feedback.

I like it firm, direct, and to the point. I’ll have you be my proxy during my next large purchase with my better half :)

Last year the prices were dropping a week or two before Black Friday about $100. Apple gave a $100 gift card for the iPads on Black Friday.

So if you wait a month yes.

In general I agree with this thought but since the announcement is only a week away if one has waited this long why not wait another week and make sure you can get the best price possible etc

If you have a micro center near you they are selling them for $150 off right now, but it’s in-store only.

I bought the 64gb 10.5 inch Pro for $450 at Micro Center just last month (in-store only sale but you could reserve yours online). All WIFI models were $200 off at the time.

Amazing deal, I'm super happy about it.

That’s a great price. Unfortunately I don’t live near a brick and mortar location. I wonder if Best Buy would price match this?

They don't. They don't mention it as a retailer they would price match, and if you google search "micro-center best buy price match" you'll find people have mixed results trying to do this.

Best Buy has a list of the stores they will price match. I think each city is different. I usually have them price match B&H photo because its on their list. I tried once with Mirco Center and they didn't honor it even though there is one in my home state. You can price match at Target too. Or just buy one from B&H photo.
