I haven't used the iCloud Syncing for my iPhone for a long time, but recently decided to give it another go. I signed up for 2TB of iCloud storage and want to know what the proper workflow is for the photos and videos taken on the phone using iCloud to get them saved and synced across my devices.

Do I still need to use the USB to my Mac to get the videos to sync as well?

Should I be using the photo stream?

Or is it just a matter of enable iCloud syncing on the phone, take a video or photo) and not worry about it?

All you need to do is enable iCloud Photo Library, connects to Wi-Fi and then plug you phone to power and it’ll start backing up.
