iPod Currently the highest bidder on eBay for an iPod Classic

Do you guys know if Apple still support this iPod in iTunes? so I can transfer my music to the device? There website doesn't stock the official charging cable, and all the alternative are them cheap ass ****** ones ;/

Yes, the current version of iTunes on both macOS and Windows will let you connect an iPod classic and transfer music to it. You can buy a 30-pin iPod/iPhone cable from eBay as well.

Great, thanks for that. Will Apple even discontinue the support of this device in the future do you think?

Also, is there anywhere I can buy a genuine cable from? brand new? I've had so many issues with cheap knock offs

Impossible to know if Apple will discontinue support on iTunes for it.

I do believe iTunes still supports the first iPod! (You just need a FireWire cable)
