Cursor jumps every 5-10 seconds

I have this problem on Mac Pro from sig and Logitech G300 mouse, and every other USB mouse. Sometimes even happens that object I grabbed to drag (icon, folder....) just lets go without me releasing mouse button.

I read that many peaple have problems with mouse or laptop trackpad on Mountain Lion. Is there fix for this ? It is very annoying, especially in Photoshop and Maya 🙁

I have seen this with a suboptimal tracking surface for the laser or optical sensor. Try using it temporarily with a piece of paper under the mouse and see if the problem goes away.

Nothing to do with mouse, surface, USB port or HUB.

OS is problem.

Problem solved.

One one of three DELL U2414M monitors, beside DVI, I used one Dsub connection for second computer. Removed Dsub - problem gone. Probably problem with ground or just bad Dsub cable.

What a relief !

i tried the paper and having the same issue….any other ideas?

Laser mice are noted for it though....
