Cursor lock on startup

I have an M1 MacBook Pro from 2021. Since upgrading to Sequoia, i find that on startup, the cursor is in the upper left hand corner of the screen and will not move until the keyboard lights up, usually about 45 seconds to a minute after startup. It was never and issue before. Any thoughts group mind?

It doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about.

When you say the cursor will not "move"...

... try making "a click" with the trackpad first, and THEN try moving the cursor.
Does this make any difference? (no promises)

I tried that and it doesn't help.

Funny, with the Sequoia 15.1 update, the problem is solved.
