So my early 2011 MBP cursor keeps moving and clicking things by itself. It goes on and off. And yes I took my MBP to Apple Care and they changed the trackpad. I thought everything would have been alright. But it took two days after the change to live it's own life again...

What's the next thing to do? Reinstall OS? I guess I must call that place again and bring my MBP back to them..

But maybe there's an easy solution to this?

Try resetting the PRAM and SMC setting , tutorial on how to do this is on the apple website.

If this doesn't work , you need to go back to them and let them check the battery, as a number of people have reported a swelling battery issues , that presses on the trackpad and cause it to be unresponsive or erratic and jumpy.

Reseting settings was the first thing I did. Even before taking my MBP first time for repair. Didn't help.

Swollen battery... I have had no problem with charging etc... but I gotta mention that to them 🙂

Thanks
