Hi everyone,

I’m considering upgrading my setup and wanted to ask if curved monitor options with Thunderbolt 4 are better suited for MacBook Pros. Do they offer noticeable improvements in performance or connectivity compared to non-Thunderbolt monitors? Additionally, how is the display quality and resolution compatibility when using a curved monitor with macOS?

I’d like to hear from anyone who has experience with these setups!

Thanks!

I just set up a brand new station with a MacBook Pro M3 Max with a Dell Ultrasharp 5K 120hz (4025QW) 40" curved display. So far it looks awesome! I get full 5K resolution at 120hz using the thunderbolt 4 input built into the display. Never in a million years did I think I would buy a Dell. But here we are lol
