Hey,
I am looking for a curved 34" screen, preferably with 4k resolution and thunderbolt/usb-c support.
Budget is around $1,500. Any recommendations and can I expect to my MBA2018 to run slower while powering a huge screen?

Thanks for the tip! Are you running it on a 2018 Macbook Air?
Yes I am. And I have thunderbolt hardrives plugged into the screen as well. I also use a dock and external key board. All works great. Dock not in photo

Wow. Amazing setup! Will take a closer look at the monitor. 34" might be overkill.

Decided to pull the trigger on the same screen. 2 days until it's delivered. Will update once its up and running :)

I like them but did not Samsung stop making them?, I would prefer a curved screen with a aspect ratio of 2:35:1

Hi - can I just ask - when the macbook goes into sleep mode, does it cause any issues with the monitor? I've just bought a Dell USB-C one that searches for inputs every 30 seconds when macbook air is asleep and then causes wake problems

Going to have a look at this screen if it works OK?

I have this screen and it’s great. Type is a tad small but that’s the case with these wide screeens.

However, if given the choice, I’d prolly go for this Alienware which was $800 recently down from $1500

The C34J791 is a better choice for the OP, who is wanting to use a Macbook Air w/ built-in Thunderbolt 3, given that it can fully charge his air and doesn't have a $200 G-Sync module in it (which is an essentially useless feature for someone who is [most likely] not gaming).

I have the C34J791 at home and love the 34" ultrawide part of it. Thunderbolt works and it can charge / display my USB-C 2018 iPad Pro as well. rtings.com gave it a favorable review and found low-input lag as well.

Seems acurate in color, the tang and fish below are what they look like.

It’s a very good screen, best I’ve ever had, but for my next screen I want a better looking base, wider screen and smaller bezels. Oh, and I’d like an 8k screen as well. Hehe
