ok simple question.

By unchecking the images on the custom logos setting page, do the boot images remain as the stock apple ones?

I like the pineapple boot image and especially the SJ restore one 😉

Yes they do. As a saftey measure I left mine stock so that if something happens to my phone an Apple employee won't look outside his building and realize it's not quite as tropical of a fruit and send me to the Pinapple store.
