Custom Configured Macbook Pro- What is Apple's return/exchange policy?

Hi all,

I am eventually going to purchase a MBP with custom configurations and I am wondering:

What is Apple's return/exchange policy for BTO orders? Will I be able to return it or exchange it if there is a problem? I will be buying Applecare.

You build it, you keep it. No returns (other than defects) on BTO.

Yeah, but remember - first, they'll fix it. They're not going to just refund your money.

Not sure. I read somewhere here that it's a minimum of 5, I think, before it's considered a defect.

That's what I heard; just wasn't sure. If so, that is sort of suckish.

None that I know of. They're great machines.

Pretty sure the Build-to-order MBP's are not returnable unless they are DOA.

Umm, that's messed up... that really sucks. Hopefully dead pixels are rare...
