Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place but I've search high and low and unable to find an answer (including several useless calls with apple). I bought a custom domain through icloud and set up a new email which successfully comes to my icloud email. Using Apple's mail program, I am able to send mail from the custom domain email address. If I set up the email through outlook (using my icloud ID) I can only send email from my icloud email, not my custom domain email. Is there a way to do this through outlook? Is there different server settings I should use rather than just set it up through icloud on outlook? Seems crazy to me that you can buy a custom domain from Apple and ONLY be able to send mail using apple's mail program (although I wouldn't put it past them).

Yes, I thought so too, but it doesnt allow me to edit that field when set up through icloud

i even found the imap settings to set up icloud email and used my custom domain for the email setup. it still sends from my icloud email address (probably because the login name is the icloud address)

just an update. its obvious outlook for mac won't support this. using EM Client does and its a great alternative to outlook. fyi
