iCloud Custom email domain outside of iCloud family

One of the features in iOS 16 was the ability to share your custom email domain outside of your iCloud family plan. I haven't been able to find how to do this yet, has anyone else?

I haven't tried it myself, but if it works it would be at https://www.icloud.com/settings/customdomain under Your Domain → Add People. Also available under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Custom Email Domain → Your Domain → Email Addresses → Add People in iOS 16.

I have created one outside of family. I sent the invitation, they accepted the invite and then they can go in and create the address just like within the family.
