I'm wondering if there are custom icon sets out there. I want to change the appearance of my dock items, such as Safari, Dashboard, Finder etc...

Google "mac os x icons".

There's millions out there. If you're not willing to spend cash for the icon-changing powerhouse app CandyBar, you can do it all yourself: (like me)

>Click on an application
>CMD+I
>hit [tab] (the first icon of the application in the info box should now be highlighted blue)
>CMD+V the icon from the clipboard to overwrite the current icon.

>to revert back to default icon, hit [delete].
>if the overwrite isn't working, go down to the sharing options in the info box and make sure all of the options are set on "Read & Write" before changing the icon.
