I'm searching for a simple software that tracks the individual manufacturing phases of each client, I don't need CRM or Project Management in the traditional sense of the word.
Just to explain, my company makes custom Swiss watches for people, companies and military personnel. Minimum order is 1 per custom design, so you can imagine how complex this can get. This requires tracking steps for each individual design, but they are the same steps per project. I find myself losing a bit of time when I overlook steps which I could have combined/done together.
The basic steps would be something like this:
1) Form Signed
2) Artwork for Print
3) Dial Printing
4) Artwork for Engraving
5) Caseback Engraving
6) To Assembly
7) Quality Control
8) Shipping
It would just move from one step to the next.
I have Daylite as well as Merlin, and both seem way too complex for what I'm trying. I don't need appointments, notes, opportunities, etc, merely simple production/manufacturing tracking.
Any advice?
