Custom labels in iOS4?

Hey guys, just got my new iPhone, however I can't figure out how to add custom labels to a contact phone number like I could in 3.1. Any hints?

It does not seem possible via Contacts -> + -> Add Field

Btw, I noticed that 'Department' now renders correctly, even if very long. I use 'Department' to store a series of comma separated keywords -- used to group my contacts in Mac AddressBook.
