Custom Message where date is on the lock screen????

So if you havent noticed, whenever you are using your iphone as an ipod it displays the song title where the date usually is on the lock screen. I was wondering if there was anyway i could put a custom message where the date is while the ipod is not playing. This would be sick!!!! does something like this already exist????? if so how do i do it?????

It is possible to do but you may need to add the text as part of a wallpaper that is in the right place on the image and by editing a certain .plist file you can hide the date.
