custom resizing windows...only one way?!

I did a few searches and got waaaay too many results with nothing specifically related to this

((although I am positive someone has beaten this into the ground))

So, I take it there is no other way other than the lower right corner to expand custom expand a window ?

I know all about the green button, so I dont need any info on this 😉

Windows does have a nice feature in allowing you to expand a window in any direction...and no matter how much I try, I will never find it easier, more efficient, etc. to have only one way to go about this...

Is there an app that frees this up?

This is just one of the differences between Macs and PCs. Switchers either learn to do it the Mac way eventually, or go mad trying... 😀

As for resizing windows, I actually prefer the OSX system now since I used to accidentally resize Windows windows ( 😀 ) when I was just trying to move them or select them. Yes, I know that's pretty uncoordinated, but I am mad.
