I didn't know if I'd get a warning for posting the site link. To the OP, I haven't made any new ringtones since iOS4 came out. But looking at the website, it looks like Apple's OS is irrelevant since you are just making files that are configured into the correct style to import to iTunes. iRinger was very easy & takes out a lot of headaches.
