Custom ringtone not working

I have Iphone 8 plus and have the ios 11. My custom ringtone is not working at all. I've done everything. This is more like a software issue.

If you phone rings with other ringtones, it would be strange indeed to call it a hardware problem because your ringtone did not work.

my custom mail, im, and text tone works. Not the ringtone for the calls.

Not unusual...my custom ring tone in 5C stopped working too.
