I'm a Iphone new-b and my question is how do I add my own ringtone to the phone?

it depends...

you can do it the apple way and download it to your phone from itunes - pay only for the ringtone

you can create it on the computer with itunes- pay for a song and then converting is also another 1$

and you can create a ringtone with a 3rd party application and then sync it to your phone which is free 🙂
