Custom SMS tones and Email tones!

I'm waiting for the "ultrasnow has been updated to work with iOS 5" news. The iPhone 3GS I obtained was jailbroken and used on TMobile.

Lol, ain't that the truth! While I've been able to set the e-mail tones and some of the other tones since Beta 1 (they also added some more options in Beta 2), the tweet sound is new and the ability to set your ringtones as text tones is new. What I find weird is that Marimba is the only ringtone that one work (of the default ringtones), I can't see any of my custom made ringtones, and the new text sounds they added (which look like the ones from iOS 4 for the iPhone 4) I can click on, but no sound plays.

While I know it's a beta, just damned annoying... I've been wanting to use those sounds for over a year now. ><

PS: This is all on my 3GS, didn't have a money for a iPhone 4, and at this rate, I'll just get an iPhone 4S/5/wtfeverit'scalled.

Good. I just downloaded all the Windows Phone 7 notifications sounds. They actually aren't that bad (pretty cool actually, they're simple), and for once I'll actually know it was my phone that went off!

Just a few i picked out. You will have to convert them to m4r!! Use http://audiko.net/ to edit the length of them and then save it. You can then drag it into your ringtones on itunes and it's done!

Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner! Click on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7190029#post7190029 and on the first post, you'll see a .rar attachment. If your on a Mac (like me) you'll need an app like Zipeg to extract the file, and then it gives you all the Windows Phone 7 notifications sounds! It's pretty simple, and they sound great!

yup, they are the same, infact SMS and email tones just use the same list as ringtones, all custom tones are universal

OMG! now I can finally use my stock of text tones from my blackberry days. I have hundreds that are only good for texting. This is the best new feature of ios5 for me.
