Custom sms tones

    ok so i have searched the forums and youtbe and followed the directions but the custom sms tone isnt working i downloaded wavepad sound editor saved the file as .aiff/.aif and then renamed it to sms-recieved3.caf and ssh'd it on but its still playing the same generic ones provided with the iphone.

    any help would be nice.

    i am on a iphone 3G 2.2 jailbreak

    if you can still hear the original tones then you're obviously not replacing the right files with your own.
