I was trying to stay away from anything that requires sticking a plate to the back of my case.

You don't have to. You can stick it to the back of your phone. I have it and it works with my leather case and my UAG case.

So it goes under the back of the case? There is not enough clearance. Also, isn't there a chance of scratching the carbon fiber part of the case with the magnet?

Edit: I saw in reviews the magnet has a rubber cover. That should prevent scratching the back of the case.

Still want other options as well.

No other recommendations? How about the magnet above mounted to the Proclip vehicle mount?

I love the idea of the magnet now. Does the phone ever slip off when hitting bumps?

No slipping. This mount is one of the best and easiest I have used.

I will get it and get a Proclip vehicle mount to mount it in a better position than my dash.

Just bought the Magicmount for $11.99 on sale at Best Buy! I will stick it on my dash in a good spot. It is so tiny, that it is awesome! Can't wait to get it installed!

    Thanks for the recommendations!

Magic Mount works great. I have three. Use it at home to hide my phone from my toddler while charging (side of the nightstand) and one on my M3 with very stiff suspension. I've had zero issues. Love it.

fits inbetween my sector pro and phone just fine. dont stick it on there, just throw it in there where you want it and put the case on, should hold in place, at least mine did.

That is what I did with my temporary case and will do the same with my sector pro case (if I ever get it). I have the mount in my truck and both plates between my case and iPhone 6 Plus. It does shift a little when I hit bumps in the road, but after 120 plus miles, I have had no issues.

My 6 plus Sector Pro shipped today with free overnight delivery due to delays in manufacturing. The plates will have a new home tomorrow.

The case was missing the volume buttons, so it will now be a longer wait before I use it.

My iPhone fell off the magic mount twice, so I ordered a center mounted ProClip.
