Custom Voicemail greeting

I have att&t (if it makes a difference) and I would like to have a custom voice mail greeting... but instead of recording it thru my phone, I was hopping I could uplaod it as a nice edited file. How can I accomplish it?

You can, however the resolution of the amr file type is very low quality so it won't sound better. Here's my tutorial for this process. There may be other methods...

thanks it worked great... the website in your tutorial to convert to amr was down but I managed to find a free trial of a program somewhere.

I end up making a greeting that sounds like GLadaOS from the Game Portal
