iOS 11 looks great. Can anyone running the iOS 11 beta on the new 10.5" iPad Pro tell me more about how customisable the dock is?

Is it a fixed thing that the three icons on the right of the dock are used for the user's most-recently-used apps and the rest of the icons to the left of them are left for the user to drag and drop icons onto to set up a fixed set as for the existing iOS dock or can how much of the dock is used for the user-defined apps vs the most-recently-used apps be configured in some way, i.e. use more or less of the dock for user-defined vs most-recent apps - maybe even being able to hide the most-recently-used section altogether so that the full dock width can be set up by the user as they want? I would probably do the latter if I could.

Also, I wonder whether we will have the option to put more apps on the home screen by the time iOS 11 gets to full release status. I found the 4 x 5 grid (or 5 x 4 in landscape) too sparse even on my 9.7" iPad and it looks even worse on my 10.5" iPad Pro. One thing I really like about the new dock, at least from the screenshots and videos that I've seen, is its tighter icon packing so I hope some of that tighter packing finds its way to the main bit of the home screen as well.

Left is fixed, right 3 are frequently used or potential next used. As far as I know, you can't turn that off. I was hoping we would have a more dense app grid by now, but I actually don't mind it with the dock as is. I might even remove all apps from the main screen and just use the dock.
