You know, I'm sure you can configure some kind of protector for the wrist area on your keyboard, quite like that protective film you can buy for iPods and cell phones and such. Once you doodle the one you wanna keep, that is.
And by the way I LOVE the worm in the Apple...I'm stealing that idea:D

Amazing work Lau.

XIII & Lau : Yep another Idlewild fan here too. I listen to there albums all the time. Just wish they would break big time... For americans who have never heard of them - think REM's better material...

I love your work Lau, gonna have to see what I can do on my ibook...

I quite like being a minority. I hate it when bands I like, like the AM's, get really big, and suddenly everyone is talking about them. Another example is James Blunt.. I remember downloading "High" as a free download of the week from the iTMS in 2004. ;)

Thanks, everyone.

My little cousin has 'customised' her iBook with drawings - abstract doodles rather than anything specific - on the case and a screen that is covered with stickies with interesting quotes on them

Heh - nice that my mental age is presumably something similar to your cousin's! :p

I was always doing that as a kid - completely unable to stop myself drawing on stuff then regretting it later because I liked it better plain. I think I just like drawing on strange surfaces - used to come home from school with biro drawings up to the elbow. My mum would go ballistic. :D

Lucky I didn't have an iBook or anything like that back then, I'd have probably painted it all over. :p

I'd like to see people with iBooks giving this a try. :p :D

Unfortuently it doesn't clean off the ibook as well, I tried a tiny amount just to check and then decided not to bother..

Glad you checked first! I've edited my first post to say this.

Didn't think it would. I have had to try for ages to get pencil marks off my iBook (when I had an iBook ;)).

These are really original. If you were to sell T's, i would buy several. If you were to actually figure out a way to viably customize PB's in a permanent fashion, I'd have it done. You possess serious artistic skill, and I want to display it!

That's what I'm saying! Lau! Do it!!! :D Then become some HUUUUUUUGE hot shot designer that all the celebrities wear you chic t shirts w/ your sketches on them (and purses?) and and and... You'll still have to hook me up w/ your pre-hot-shot prices since I encouraged and gave you the idea first. :p :D

ha, that reminds me, its time to CLEAN my PB!!!! Looks cool though. If I had as much artistic ability as i would like, then im sure i would think of a cool design and make it permanent! I very much enjoy mods! check out my sight www.leaveapenny.net/macmods and check out what I've done to my 12" iBook (sold it) 12" PB (sold it) and now my 15" PB. just moded my 15" after this weekend. I met a couple of MR guys at the opening of the new Apple store in dallas and they were sad to see my PB wasn't modded like my old 12" so i had to mod it right after that! lol.

I wouldn't mind a tee. I love the design of your site, BTW.

Nice one! Looks as if he's flying towards the apple. :) Good drawing as well.

Well, I have been thinking of selling t shirts or something similar for a while, but I'm not sure how to go about it, so have just been musing over it. I'm not sure having ordering of different sizes is the way forward, if only from a stock and money point of view. But I may think about doing custom ones, as that would be a bit more fun. I'll look into it....:D

I did a little something (not even worthy of being called a doodle), and the PowerBook surface seems to accept the pencil really nicely. Maybe accept isn't the right word, but it has a nice texture or something.

Maybe that makes sense...

Update

Instead of doing some work, i ended up drawing the whole evening.
I'm going to bed now, maybe i ll add something tomorrow. This is what i ended up with.
