Look in General > Restrictions. (Looking off my iphone.) You can hide certain default icons/apps.

Thanks - as you said, it's only a few that you can hide. I wanted to disable a lot more.

Check out the Enterpirse support page, there might be something there that allows for more customized configuration of work iPads.

Are you allowed to jailbreak it, considering it's a work iPad? If you can, then it's possible to hide the default apps.
