Anoybody knows how I can change this from white to any other png?

Thanks!

Wow not a simple png plug. Thanks for the reading materials. I'll try to play around with it :)

Please keep us posted if you find an answer. That would be a cool change

I edited the texture file and put some color into it and got this. Still far from a complete overhaul but im happier with this than the white since its too bright compared to my overall theme.

I would be happy just changing it back to how it used to be for the last 5 versions. No idea why they had to change just for the heck of it. I'm not against change as long as there's a reason for it.

Mind throwin a little tutorial on how to to that?

Sure. Use cyberduck (OSX) or WinSCP (Windows) and SSH into your

/private/var/stash/Applications/biteSMS folder.

Copy the file qc-texture@2x.png and edit it in photoshop or any pic editing app you are familiar with. It's a transparent texture file. What I did was I filled it with color put a smudge stick filter and then lower the opacity to give it a more transparent look and then saved it locally on my hd. I replaced the one on the iphone folder then I deleted the cache files in this folder /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/bsbg-*.png. Then respring

Repeat changing until you get the proper look you want.

Here's the file I came up with
