In Safari. The search function that is in the toolbar on the top right is always searching Google. Is there a way to change to a different search engine?

I've always thought it strange that Google controls the search window by default, but Yahoo came loaded in the Bookmarks Bar. I use Yahoo exclusively.

Download Glims for Safari, and you will be able to pretty much have anything in the upper right corner - from Google to Wikipedia or the site of your choice.

Agreed that Glims will do what you need, and more. It is the must-have add-on for Safari, hands down.
