I loaded a new skin for the keyboard on my touch and it didn't work properly, so I tried to change it back to the old default keyboard, and customize (1.18) always opens a dialogue box saying "low memory, please delete photos..." It doesn't seem to have changed it properly, because everytime I open up an app that uses a keyboard it either crashes, or the "Go" button is all a pixelated green. And trying to use it just causes the springboard to restart. I have already tried a "hard reset" and rebooting several times. But nothing seems to help. It makes the ITMS crash when attempting a search. Any ideas as to how to help fix the keyboard? w/o performing a restore?

That happened to me too.
try going to Customize app and under keyboard artwork, there should be a backup file. Exit out of customize and the springboard should restart and it should work
PS. if the keyboard doesnt get fixed, try repeating the process, i had to do this twice and then it worked. I hope it works!
