Customizing extension layout in Safari?

I just installed some extensions to Safari and it installed some extra icon/buttons that I do not need. I can not figure out how to remove them. How do you decide which extension buttons you want and do not want to show? I right clicked on them and tried to move and customize them in the pop up window, though nothing happened.

Right click in the grey space between two extensions then select customize toolbar. From there you can just drag off the ones you don't want.
