I need help! I am trying to use more productively. By the way I am using Leopard. I want to make the icons big enough that you can see what it is with the live preview but not making it TOO BIG. I love the quick look but sometimes I just want to glance at my screen and say "There it is". I am going to school so many of my documents look about the same. I have to use either quick look or cover flow feature. Hope somebody can help me with this.

open a folder in icon view by and choose "Show View Options" from the Edit menu or press "command-J". check the "always open in icon view" box at the top, move the icon size slider to your preferred size and then click use as defaults if you want every window to look like this.
