Hi all,

I have my iPhone and Watch set to English, but I also communicate in other languages. This works beautifully with iMessage as it switches the short-reply and dictation language based on the last used phone keyboard language for that contact. But how do I customize my short-reply texts in multiple languages? Given that my phone is set to English, it'll only let me enter new phrases for that language.

Thanks!

I had no problem typing a Japanese phrase as a default message, even though my phone's system language is English. What happens when you try to switch keyboards when entering the default response?

To clarify, I'd like to specify different responses for different languages. There's of course little use in having a Japanese phrase available when sending a message to an English contact. Since there are different sets of default phrases for each language, I was hoping that I can specify a set of custom ones on a per language basis.

I would like to have that, too, but so far, I don't see a way to do that. :(

I just tested it, modified one of the default message replies to Hebrew and was able to send it from my Apple Watch
