I found some really neat sounds I'd like to use on my computer (OS 10.3) for things like emptying the trash and minimizing windows. How can I go about changing the sounds? I know how to change the sounds to something they already have on the system but how do I add some of my own?

You can put aiff formatted sounds into /System/Library/Sounds/
and the will show up in the sound control panel.
note: those files with extensions "aif", "AIF" nor "AIFF" are not recognized as aiff formatted file
