So I did some googling on the process and it turns out to be part of the graphics package. Now I am trying to figure out why this process is consuming 25% of my current CPU load. I typically find this happening when I load a flash site/Java site. Safari would then act goofy and would hang; but here is the thing the whole system hangs and I am forced to do a reboot (hard/soft)

In december I installed a OCZ Vertex 3 in the laptop and have been getting random KPs with it in there. Since then I have booted from the stock drive and completly wiped the SSD and backed up the data from the stock HD. I am at my wits end in trying to solve this. Any advice?

Setup
13" macbook pro 2.3 i5
16 gb ram (2x8)
ocz vertez 3 256gb

thanks,

This is getting annoying some times my boots are only 5 mints old and this CVMcompiler process is making my system unresponsive. I have included a screenshot of activity monitor then I had to reboot...
