i still got those cyberduck issues.............

yeah i'm definitly imputting my computer IP address and NOT my phone's. I use the username "root" and the password "dottie" (ive also tried "alpine" several times). ive even gone as far as to reset the root password through my system's admin to "12345". Yet no matter what, i keep getting the "connection failed". In red letter it tells me that there was a problem while connecting to my IP address.

Ok, we eliminated that as causing the problem.

So, launch Installer and make sure you have downloaded these applications:

1) BSD Subsystem
2) OpenSSH
3) Services

After installing, launch Services and turn on SSH.

Then, recheck the IP address and try Cyberduck again.

The first login may take a few minutes, but after that, it will be much quicker.

Let me know the results.

Hi,

i am also having some problems accessing directories in my iphone using cyberduck.

i am able to connect and the current directory displayed are only two: the library and media. the current path is /private/var/root/.

I am unable to see the other paths and files so that i could ftp files. please help.

Thanks!

It worked now for me.. it was caused by my iphone going into sleep mode/automatic lock. so i just set it to not lock and i can now see the folders and connect successfully.

Thanks!
