Hello all - So my 2017 27" iMac finally arrived (i7, 512SSD, 16GB, Radeon 580). I found a good deal on the CyberPower GX1325U UPS at my local Fry's Electronics. It supports PFC and all that, but I am admittedly an amateur when it comes to battery backups. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is the info. from CyberPower

Thanks so much for any input!

If it's a good deal I'd go for it. I have no reason to believe that the iMac's are especially picky about UPS power, and I've run my 2009 on APC line-interactive UPSs (stepped sine) without incident for years. As long as the output rating is sufficient, and I'd expect that that one is OK, you should be in good shape with any of the name brands.

Thanks kschendel - I did in fact grab the GX1335U from my local BB (got them to match the Fry's sale price). So far so good!
