Please forgive me,if this is a dumb question....I'm not as savvy as you guys are.

But at the top of the Cydia Home page,it says:

This device has SHSH's on file for iPhone OS/iOS:
4.0,4.0.1 AND 4.0.2.

Does that mean that I can update to 4.0.2 and my phone still stays jailbroken?

There is not jailbreaking 4.0.2 firmware unless you have a 3G phone.
Every firmware update will generally remove your jailbreak (except Pwnage Tool using Custom_Restore IPSW's).

Those hashes allow you to restore to those firmware versions, that's all.

I have a 3GS...I'm leaving well enough alone. I just thought I would ask.

Thanks!
