cydia problem - date and time changed

ive noticed sometimes after installing some packages from cydia, my date and time would be changed. more specifically, the date and time changed to 7/15, which was the date of the backup that i restored from after i jailbroke to recover facetime/mms. Its an easy fix by toggling the "set date automatically" tab in the settings on and off but its starting to be a hassle since i have to do it everytime it occurs...
